“I made the choice long ago to be an artist who pursues mission  driven by curiosity rather than ambition.  The result is the privilege of immersing myself in multiple genres and many kinds of process.  I'm especially drawn to the reluctant hero:  folks who rise up in the face of an unexpected personal and ethical crisis  and end up changing the world a little.”

- James Still
