“I made the choice long ago to be an artist who pursues mission — driven by curiosity rather than ambition. The result is the privilege of immersing myself in multiple genres and many kinds of process. I'm especially drawn to the reluctant hero: folks who rise up in the face of an unexpected personal and ethical crisis — and end up changing the world a little.”
- James Still
